Disney Pin Trading Events
This first picture is of Mark Seppala. Mark is now a Senior Graphic Designer for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. He created many wonderful pins. Here he is signing the Reluctant Dragon Artist's Choice pin that he created. Early pictures of Disney pin trading featuring Disney Artists! Traders could get their limited edition pins signed by the artists. It all started iwhen n April 2000 Walt Disney World, at Epcot, started Disney pin trading weekends! Each week a Featured Artists pin was introduced with signings from the artist available. And on two of the Sundays of the month a special auction was held. Here are some pictures of that special month!
The next is a picture of set-up for Brian Blackmore. He signed the pin he created: Space Mickey Artist's Choice pin.
And the final picture is of Monty Maldovan signing his Sorcerer Mickey and Donald as Noah's Assistant from Fantasia 2000.
These were the very first of Walt Disney World Disney pin trading events. I wish I had more Walt Disney World pin trading pictures to show, but these are only ones I could find. It was so much fun back then when I had the Walt Disney World Annual pass and could go to WDW any time I wished. Disney pin collecting was so much fun then, as I am sure it is even today.
